10 year Challenge

This 10 year challenge has been all the rage on Facebook and I don't plan to participate or post anything but it did get me to thinking about what I looked like back in 2009 and when I dug these up and it made me smile...after the loss of our beloved mom in May of 2009 my sister gave birth to this perfect little boy who I have watched grow up in the past almost 10 years now...I can't wait to spend more time with him in April when I visit them in Texas.

CARDMAKING Life Hacks That Will BLOW YOUR MIND!

2019

I don't usually make new year's resolutions, I try to just do the right thing all year long!

2018 was a year in which I went through spine fusion and recovered from that very well after being in pain for a very long time before the procedure, the nerve pain down my legs was excruciating and I'm so glad I went ahead and had the problem fixed!!

I have now lost over 25 pounds in the past year just by virtue of the fact that I've been able to walk and move more and more, before surgery I could barely go 10 feet without having to sit down!  Thankfully both of my jobs were accommodating to me, at the Boulton Center I worked the door and sat in a chair to take tickets and at the library I did a lot of craft prep work while sitting at a desk most shifts, I feel blessed that both of my jobs were understanding!  It really is great to be back to full duty at both now, especially working behind the concession stand at the theatre. :)

I have a lot of travel planned for 2019 and can't wait for it all to get here!!!  My list is long but fun!!

April--Texas to visit my sister and attend a game at Texas Rangers
May--Miami to attend a Marlins/Mets game or two
May--Arizona and L.A. for Mets/Dodgers and of course Mets/D-Backs with Jesse
July--Mall of America and a Mets/Twins game
August--Chicago with Jesse, we will take in a Sox game and a Cubs game
I'm hoping to return to Texas in November but nothing set in stone as of yet!

All told by the end of the 2019 baseball season I hope to be halfway done with my quest to see all 30 ballparks!!

2019 will also be the year that I finally become a U.S. Citizen!!!  I've applied and now I'm waiting to be called for the interview and the civics test, it's a long process but hopefully I'll hear something this month or next, this is something that has been on my mind for a few years but I was waiting until we had paid off our mortgage and I could spare the money for the application fee which isn't cheap!  I'm excited for it!!
