Game #5

Another loss for my Metsies but despite the 8-2 loss we had a fun evening together and actually sat on the 300 level tonight which was kind of fun, being a weeknight game there weren't many fans and lots of empty seats and we snuck into section 328!  :)

Game #4

Another loss but still a fun afternoon/evening at the ballpark.  Final score was 3-1, Jacob DeGrom got 10 strike outs but walked 6 batters and gave up the 3 runs himself.  Our bats are still quiet, I am hoping that things get better and soon!!!  We got our Matt Harvey Garden Gnome so that's a fun item to add to our Mets swag collection!  The line at the prize wheel was too long by the time we got over there so we didn't wait on it, maybe next time.  The best part of being season ticket holders and getting in early and being able to see the home team players out on the field, totally awesome!!  Travis D'Arnaud was out there having a catch and that was good to see since he's on the DL right now after hitting his hand on the bat of the player in the box a couple games back.

Game #3

Game #3 is in the books and it was another loss for the Mets tonight...so I'm 0-3 so far on the season of the games I've attended...oh well...that's how it goes sometimes.  Jim went to the game with me and we had a fun night together and got there with no traffic and we were home by 11:10 since we decided to leave in the top of the 9th inning.  It was a warmer night with it being 72 degrees when we got there but it was chilly toward the end of the game.

The final score was 6-4 for the Phillies and Noah Syndergaard suffered the loss, there were errors and it was just a sloppy game for the Mets.

It was nice to meet up with some of my Stampeders friends from last season and meet a new friend who was there for her 1st stamp tonight!!

Game #2

A bit of a better night weatherwise but we lost again 8-1 this time!  Arlene and I had a great time anyway as we always make the best of it, win or lose!!!  Looking forward to more fun days and nights at the ballpark this season, Let's Go Mets!!! #LGM

Game #1

Game #1 of the season for us!!  Mets lost 7-2 and it was a brutally cold night but we managed to stay for 7 innings of baseball!  We got to see Zach Wheeler in his first start in 2 years and that was pretty exciting to see...hopefully he improves as the season rolls along and gets better and better!!!
