I haven't posted in a while but I am here to say that I have kept up with my photo a day or "PAD" so far~even though I haven't had the time to post the photos on my blog every day they are in a folder on my computer and it's nice to go back and see what I've done so far this year!!
So I am happy to say that I have been getting back into my couponing...I was really into it a few years back but with mom getting sick and then coming to live with us I just didn't have the time or the energy to put into it. Yesterday was a great shopping day for me at 2 of my local grocery stores and today I set out to hit both CVS and RiteAid as well as Stop&Shop because I didn't realize what great matchups there were until I checked out Coupon Diva's website last night!! Thanks so much Kitty!!
Off to CVS I go with coupons in hand and $4 in ECB's (Extra care bucks)
So...CVS transaction #1 as pictured:
2 bags of M&M's at $1-$1 ECB (makes it free)
Preparation H wipes $3.99-$3.99 ECB (makes it free)
2 Speedstick Deodorants $5.50-$3 ECB
5 drinks for $5-2 ECB's.
I was going to get 5 Powerades but I noticed a pad of tear off coupons for the vitamin waters ($1 on 2!! So I took 2 coupons and got 4 vitamin water and one powerade)
Used: $2 off on vitamin water
$2 off on Preparation H which was a printable!!
.50 off Speedstick ( I had 2 of these) both printables
$4 ECB I had from buying the nail polish last week!
Total out of pocket for transaction #1= $7.48
Total ECB's that printed out: $9.99
Which gives me a credit of $2.51
(I got paid $2 to take that Preparation H home...hahaha!)
Transaction #2 at CVS
I bought 2 packages of the Scott 12 pack on sale for $6.99 each.
Used 2 X $1 off coupon I had for each 12 pack
Used $9.99 in ECB's that printed on transaction #1
Total out of pocket: $3.20
Total spent at CVS today out of pocket: $10.68
Total in savings: $38.30!!
So after CVS I headed on over to RiteAid for my first experience at actually using the UP+ rewards program that they have with their wellness card. Riteaid has a cool thing where you can watch videos on their website and then after you watch it you can print out a coupon!! So yesterday I watched a video and got a $1 off anything in the store print out! My first purchase was one shampoo and one conditioner by Renpure, both of these were $4.99 but then you got $4.99 in UP+ rewards on your receipt so I bought them and used the $1 off coupon. Total out of pocket for these 2 items today: $9.75 Total saved: $5.00
Transaction #2 was totally fun and even my cashier was excited for me and asked me if I watch that show Extreme Couponing on TLC!! HAHA! Maybe. ;)
2 boxes of Raisin bran
2 boxes of Rice Krispies
2 boxes of Frosted Flakes
3 packages of Pop Tarts
I used the $9.98 in UP+ rewards
2 X .70 off a box of Raisin Bran (printable)
$1 off on 3 packages of Pop Tarts
$1 off on 2 boxes of Rice Krispies
$1 off on 2 boxes of Frosted Flakes
Total for this order out of pocket: $2.54!!
Total savings: $32.97
My final stop today was to the Stop&Shop to pick up a few items that were great matchup savings with my coupons and these would be good stockpiling items for our family.
2 boxes of Ronzoni Garden Delights
2 mustard dipping sauces
4 BBQ sauces
3 pringles super stacks
4 Knorr's Rice sides
2 Planter's Nutrition Bars
Total out of pocket: $12.98
Total saved: $24.49
So my grand total for today at 3 stores is:
Total for all of my items: $136.71
Out of pocket: $35.95
Savings: $100.76
I hope this helps others to save, let me know if you find any other great deals!!

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #6
Challenge #6 was to incorporate a tag into your layout!
Here is what I did...man I will be so glad when I am done scrapping our pics from the 1990's!! This is our trip to Arizona in July of 1994...man was it hot!!
I have several panoramic photos from that trip (does anyone do that anymore? HAHA!) so I wanted to use the mosaic technique with this layout.

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #5
National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #4
So challenge #4 was anything with a Mother's Day theme and as luck would have it today is Mother's Day so I took a picture that I have of myself that I had been waiting to scrap and used it for this layout. I have blurred the journaling because it is very personal and I want to keep it in my book and not out for the whole internet world to read. :)
National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #3
I don't have any Kraft cardstock so I had to skip challenge #2 so here we go with #3 which is...to create something with a breast cancer theme.
I had this paper pack that I got on clearance at Michael's and I am super excited to be able to open it and use it for this challenge.
I used my scallop punch for the piece behind the glitter flower which I cut out by hand from one of the sheets of glitter pattern paper in the package. I pop dotted both and I think it came out nice. I love the pink ribbon that I used, I have a few different colors of this ribbon, it is one of my favorite ribbons to use!!

National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #1
I haven't posted in a while but My Pink Stamper is having 12 challenges to celebrate national scrapbooking day so I thought I would see how many of them I can get done. :)
Challenge #1- Anything cupcake!!!
I have a friend having a birthday soon so this was perfect!!
My cupcake was cut at 3" on Create a Critter and I used my cuttlebug to emboss the background.
