I have noticed that a lot of my friends who have blogged have let them go and haven't blogged in a long time, is this a trend? Are people getting away from their daily, weekly or even monthly journaling or is everyone just too busy these days to jot down a few moments of their lives?
For me I guess it might be a little of both as I've been constantly doing things every single day and never sit idle for too long. I marked the anniversary of mom's passing on to heaven by

A friend of mine told me about the fact that deer do not like cone flowers so I went to the nursery and was thrilled to find PURPLE ones and since that was one of mom's favorite colors it was just meant to be! They are the tall plants that have no flowers on them yet, the flowers have not bloomed as yet and they are perennials so I'm hoping that they will come back year after year with any luck! I went back a few days later and they were still standing so I'm hopeful. I also planted the pretty little purple and pink annuals for added color and hope that they don't take a hit from the local critters there.
Stay tuned...I will keep you posted.
