Happy 2013

Here we are in 2013!!

I wanted to share my 2012 savings from my couponing.

While I saved almost 68% last year I have a goal in 2013 to lower my spending even more. In 2012 my average weekly spending was $112.42 per week so my goal for 2013 is to bring that down to $75 per week for a total spending for the year of only $3900. Not sure if I can do it, but I will surely try!!

I am really pleased that I saved over $12, 000 last year and hope to do the same in 2013!!! :)

June 2012

I haven't posted in a while, busy with my couponing and now working 2 jobs!!

The month of June was my first month where I stayed under my goal of $400 spent for the entire month!! Yay!!

February 2012 savings

February was a good month, overall. I am seeing my spending going down, as well, now that my stockpile of items is growing. I am finding that I am only picking up items that are very cheap or free with coupons for the most part and most of my budget is going to fresh produce and sandwich meats at the deli counter which is great! I continue to learn every day on how to save money and I hope to continue to save for our family every single month. Saving on food and HBA's frees up money for other things we want to do.

One of my best trips ever!

I had such a great trip to Shoprite today, had to make a post about it! :) :)

Also I found a great deal at Target the other day and went back because I was able to print a coupon for $2/1 Kashi item from Recycle bank! Check out the clearance on these Kashi bars and there were 2 more coupons inside the package, bonus!! :) With my $2 coupon it worked out to just $1.48 for both boxes or .74 cents each, that's a steal for kashi bars and my husband loves them. :)
